My PhD thesis was on personal webloggers and am continuing research into social media. I also have ongoing interests and experience in journalism and in young people's use of the internet. I am currently researching:
* Newspaper framings of the recent UK elections
* Academic and policymaker framings of the benefits of digital inclusion
* The extent to which digital technologies are changing opportunities for and definitions of literary authorship.
